Hand WINCHES

A winch is a mechanical device that is used to pull in (wind up) or let out (wind out) or otherwise adjust the tension of a wire rope.  Wire rope is usually wound on the winch.  A winch may be used to trim a line on a sailboat, the crew member turns the winch handle with one hand, while tailing (pulling on the loose tail end) with the other to maintain tension on the turns. Winches are frequently used as elements of backstage mechanics to move scenery in large theatrical productions. Winches find application in motor sports (like off-roading), water and snow sports. We have compact hand winches mechanically operated from 200kg upto 600kg.For larger engineering applications, like opening dam gates, we have Double and Treble Purchase Crab Winches from 1ton to 10ton.Wall mounted Worm and Worm Wheel type Winches are also available for 250kg to 5tons capacity
